If you’ve ever been to a Long Beds show and seen the guy sitting behind me playing guitar, banjo, and singing harmony, that’s Billy. If you’ve ever heard that guy raise your tiny neck hairs when he takes the vocal solo on “Ashes,” that’s Billy. If you ever wondered who was the first person to convince me to sing my songs in public, that’s Billy. If you ever want someone to tell you all the after-bar secrets of Chili Corners, Wisconsin, that’s Billy. If you ever wanna know which Long Bed married a Nobbern girl, that’s Billy. If you want to know who has become my dear, dear friend and bandmate, that’s Billy.
Billy has a new album out. It’s called “Last Call,” and he’ll be debuting it this Wednesday, June 28th, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Artisan Forge Studios, 1106 Mondovi Road, Eau Claire, Wisconsin (Behind WestConsin Credit Union).
Here is a powerfully good article about Billy, written by a powerfully good writer, Dan Lyksett.
