Corey Carlson may be Bayfield, WI’s hometown boy, but he’s known and celebrated far and wide. He grew up on the very ski hill that Big Top Chautauqua calls home and was weaned on all of the legendary performers that have graced its stage. A talented songwriter and exceptional musician, Corey is known for his magnetic stage presence, versatile voice, and solid instrumentation. His live performances blend rock, blues, and soul into a captivating musical experience.

In August of 2023, Corey Carlson & the Big City Band, came together for a long-awaited reunion concert, dedicated to their long-time friend Andy Dee. Big City Band members Tony Axtell, Michael Pilhofer, Paul Mayasich, along with special guests Joe Savage and Al Oikary of The Big Wu, joined the two-time Bob Dylan Fest “Best Songwriter” winner for an epic, high-energy night of music under the Big Top.
