Still Kinda Country
The city is coming. Every year the horizon glows brighter. The roads are widening, the stoplights and gas stations replicating, branded America drawing nearer and nearer. It’s not a surprise, it’s not a whine, we saw it coming even before we lived here. And we’re lucky to live here. And for now, you can still order your coffee beans and pick them up off the top of a fencepost. Thank you, neighbors.
