Raft of Stars

In what I would describe as one of those gratitude/bummer intersections, my email and post office mailbox fills up weekly with manuscripts, CDs, advance copies, and requests for me to review, blurb, or discuss more smart, powerful writing and heartfelt art than I could lay my eyes on if it was my full-time job, and in order to hit my own deadlines I nearly always have to respectfully decline. It does my heart good, then, when I recognize a manuscript I know the author has been working on for years out there finding its way, finding its audience, and finding its praise. Congratulations to Andrew Graff for a Raft of Stars.
