So You Know I Know

While I can shop for bungee cords at the Farm & Fleet without anybody recognizing me, I have reached the point where I get enough emails and letters and Tweets and Facebook messages that I am unable to give each the personal response it deserves and as such today is one of those days I feel compelled to let you know I still read every single one and don’t take them for granted. Also: Your Facebook comments reveal you to be an above-average bunch of pithy quotationeers. You give me a lot of grins. The fact is, I’m self-employed in an endeavor requiring self-promotion and it will be so until the mortgage is paid off and the kids stop wrecking their shoes, but I take none of this for granted and there is heart at the heart of it.
