SOLD OUT: Speaking Event: 31st Annual Senior Citizens Day/ University of Eau Claire

University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension will present the 31st annual Senior Americans Day from 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. June 4 in the W.R. Davies Center at UW-Eau Claire.

Designed for adults 55 and better, this year’s theme is “Celebrating 31 years of being positively ageless!” The goals of the event include dispelling the myths of aging, reinforcing positive aspects of aging, and providing information to help meet the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of older adults.

Mike will speak at the following sessions:
8:45-9:15 a.m. Keynote: Writing from the Middle of Nowhere
Location: Ojibwe Ballroom in Davies Center

9:45-10:35 a.m. Breakout Session: “Just Keep Shoveling”
Location: Woodland Theater, W.R. Davies Center, UW-Eau Claire Campus.
