Some call him an author, some call him a comedian, but everyone loves Michael Perry‘s entertaining live appearances. A cheesehead born and raised, he draws on his beloved books and offbeat life experiences as a farm kid, volunteer firefighter/EMT, Wyoming wannabe cowboy and common Wisconsin citizen to create a live show known for bringing folks of all backgrounds together for an evening of humor and storytelling that feels like shootin’ the breeze with a friendly but slightly befuddled neighbor.

On February 20, 2025, Perry returns to the Stoughton Opera House with a stack of stories and (if you’ve seen one of this previous sold-out shows, you know this) a tendency to wander off into new material, hilarious tangents, and the occasional introspective heartfelt moment that make the opera house feel as if it’s a living room filled with family.
