Was struck recently by how distinctly different “Big White Cloud” sounds from the rest of J.J. Cale’s work, then a couple weeks in figured out it was John, not J.J.
Prior to a reading in Plymouth, Minnesota, I sat for an enjoyable interview with Aaron Landry of the Heavy Table. Poor guy, I rambled like sixty. I hope he didn’t try to transcribe the whole thing. The excerpted interview has now been posted: you can read it here.

Tell you what, watch this video and tell me: Who you want on the hay crew? Taylor, or them two limber fellers?
I figure Taylor (and if you ever loaded a hay wagon, you’ll get this) could stack’em nine high.
