This t-shirt features the opening paragraph of Michael Perry’s bestselling memoir Population: 485 and was inspired by a poster conceived by Chippewa Valley artist Lori Chilefone.

Lori: “The figure is from a circa 1880’s gravure rendering by Smeeton & Tilly of a statue of Phoebe, a Titan goddess of the moon, worshipped by ancient Greeks. The name “Phoebe” derives from the Greek for “shining, bright, and radiant.”
