Off The Road Again

Not a complaint, just a report (please see end of post for folks who truly can use your help): Balancing the checkbook and was struck by this visual representation of what happens when you make half your living on the road running your mouth to rooms full of people and then you have, oh, say, a pandemic. Double salute to the truckers and deliverers out there racking up miles for the rest of us anyway. And the health care providers taking care of those who catch this thing. And the health care providers and researchers working so hard to knock this thing out in the real world and keep us from getting it in the first place. And to those of you quietly doing your best to limit its spread.

We’re OK. Our little family has the privilege of making adjustments. But many of our neighbors do not. If you’re able, please consider supporting Feed My People (they do tremendous boots-on-the-ground good locally and are seeing steep increases in need) or revisit the Chippewa Valley Artists Relief Fund set up by the above-average souls at Ambient Inks (if you order anything from the Sneezing Cow store, the Ambient Inks crew selects, packs, and ships it).

Meanwhile, I’ll keep typing. And thank you all. So much crud out there, but daily I also hear from the best of you.
