Amplifying (well, me and Oprah) Tayari Jones

I’ve been writing about amplification for a while now, and after reading this article it delights me to know the works and hard work of Tayari Jones are being amplified beyond anything my tiny tin horn can toot. But I am happy to point you to her work. And happy to have shared time and conversation–if ever so briefly–way back when. It’s heartening to see someone catch a break after years of hard work, if only so you can testify: yes, they been earnin’ this for a long time.
