Saturday Night Show on Washington Island (BRATWURST!)
This Saturday night at the Trueblood Performing Arts Center on Washington Island, Wisconsin, I’ll open the show with a few of the greatest hits (beer tent, dead cow kicks farmer, guinea pig story) then do the new one, “Half A Star,” in which I share the worst reviews of my career to take the audience on “a hilarious, heartfelt, and unvarnished journey through a life in the arts as seen mostly from behind the windshield of a used van.”
Show’s at 7:30 pm but you should show up early because word down at the coffee shop is that the Washington Island Fire Department will be there at starting at 5:30 pm selling brats as a fundraiser. Volunteer fire departments selling brats at an arts center is right up my alley.
