Forensics Flashback

Neat, humbling, unexpected, and fitting: students using my writing in forensics competitions. Fitting because when my 7th grade English teacher introduced me to forensics she gave me survival tools I didn’t know I’d need in “real life.” I know with all the goofball public yammering I do some folks don’t believe it, but I am pathologically shy. One of those introverts who has learned to operate in public in short bursts, then go hide out again. My “without whom” list is a mile long, but in this case, what Mrs. R taught me in forensics is helping me feed my kids to this very day. Go, forensics! And yep, roughnecks can do it too.
