Was listening to Mike Reid yesterday morning. The album Turning for Home. Interesting fellow. Defensive lineman for the Cincinnati Bengals but played piano with symphonies during the offseason. Retired in part due to hand injuries that he feared might imperil his piano playing. Went on to write hit songs for country artists including Ronnie Milsap. He had a number one hit in 1990 with the song “Walk on Faith.” Turning for Home is one of my favorite singalong albums.
