Rain in the Morning
Slow, steady rain had the internet (satellite out here) down all morning so no big update, except to say we needed this rain in a bad way, grateful to have it. Driving through southern Wisconsin a few days ago I saw water standing in the cornfields…but here everything was dust and hardpan. So it’s fun to think of the roots stretching and unbending and drinking deep.
