Cleaning my office and came across a copy of an interview I did with Volume One last year on the release of The Clodhopper Monologues. Funny to read about the deadlines I was working on. The book deadlines? Didn’t even come close, although the one book is now done and in the pipeline (August release) and the second book is closer. But right at the end there I say I’m planning to perform “new stuff” at the Stoughton Opera House – so as of last night, check that one off the list. Little victories.

It’s always strange when an interview you did weeks/months ago is posted…I have no idea what I said. I trust if there’s anything controversial or embarrassing or generally knuckleheaded, someone will let me know.

Tonight I’ll be hauling my International Guitar over to the Red Parrot to play some of my songs with Sue Orfield and her crew.  We rehearsed in a garage the other night (a Wisconsin garage with a heater that blows like the Devil’s own hairdryer).  See y’there, if yer there.
