Wow, a neat bunch of photos from the show we played in Appleton. The venue was beautiful, as you can see, and they gave us great sound to match. This was a fundraiser for the Fox Cities Book Festival. Thank you to everyone who sold out those seats!

Shot the breeze with long-time neighbors last night, played music with friends, and just plain enjoyed going home. All for a good cause. Thank you to everyone who made the time and took the trip. Special thank-yous to the Long Beds, who donated their time and considerable talents, and to Sir Arthur’s Court-tet, who opened for us. Beautiful anthem, fellows.

And – if you were there you’ll understand – from now on I’ll call it quasi-cappella.

Also a thanks to Dan, who was there sweeping up the popcorn when I packed the last box in the car and headed south.

Taking just a moment to thank Amble Down Records. They’ve given the Long Beds a great home, and continue to support Tiny Pilot. The life that album has found has been most gratifying, and it wouldn’t have been the same without Kyle and Josh and crew there to give us a lift.

Thanks to John Connell, who has put up a Flickr album of the recent Cadence/Meridene/Long Beds show down to Phoenix Park. It was warm, and I was wearing my New Auburn Area Fire Department sleeveless T. We had fun, because as the photo below (taken while Meridene was playing) demonstrates, this thing is like a giant family picnic.
