On the Moose This Morning, Boyceville Tomorrow

Will be shooting the breeze with Jay Moore on The Moose this morning. You can listen online here. I should be on just after 9 a.m. CST.

Tomorrow I’ll spend the day speaking with students in Boyceville, Wisconsin. Then tomorrow night the Long Beds and I will play a benefit show in the gymnatorium for the local food pantry. I don’t do chest-thumping. Don’t have the desire, haven’t earned the right. But I am grateful, and thus these fresh colors snap in the wind over our farm today.*

*Yes. That is a big ol’ honkin’ flagpole. A story for another day (wrote it up for the next book but it was cut). Stands there thanks to my West Point grad Army vet father-in-law. Sa-lute.
