Justin (of the band Bon Iver) was well on his way to famous when this photo was taken, and things got even bigger after that. Even his beard got famous. But he remains a Chippewa Valley boy, and just shows up to work. That’s me digging around in the closet for something (I know there was a 30-06 in there). Those old boots are the ones on the cover of the Headwinded album. That round sprig of something on the wall used to frame a poem by Rexroth, but the poem had already been packed up for the move.
