Why We Continue to Feed Them

Our almost-two-year-old does this thing now where she says, “I sleeping,” then squeezes her eyes shut and flops over backward…all very convincing except for the compression-wrinkles at the corners of her eyes and the big smile. You understand at times like these that you are no longer in charge of your heart.
